Unfortunately I have found that most of the people that let their children run around unsupervised like this in a store do so at home as well. As a mother of four I sometimes wonder if my head is mounted on a swivel trying to keep them all in line but my rules of shopping are: 1) No touching ANYTHING and 2) stay close to me. Should any of these rules get broken they are given one warning before and if that doesn't do it we leave. Apparently this is not the norm as we have had numerous strangers approach us and tell us what lovely well behaved children we have even when I feel like I am at wits end. It is sad that public behavior has gotten so out of hand.
